Trotting along now is the 2009 Gilbert Days Rodeo Royalty Court. These gals have been traveling the wonderful state of Arizona supporting the sport of rodeo. They have traveled from Payson to Tucson, Globe to Maricopa and gathering places in between.
The Gilbert Days Royalty have a community platform. They are on the lookout for kind deeds and ask for Good Deed Detectives to join their search. Today's news often reports the negative side of life; somewhat ignoring the acts of sunshine being performed by good hearted people. This group of young horsewomen donate many hours of community service and are honored to tell their kind deed stories. They visit schools and share their knowledge of our western heritage and the beauty of the horse. So, let's trot along a bit further and find out about each one of the 2009 Gilbert Days Rodeo Royalty.

Howdy folks! My name is Adell Madson and I am honored to be representing Gilbert Days as Queen! This has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl. I am a 19 year old Arizona native and I love the way of a cowgirl's life. In 2002 I was crowned the Gilbert Days Rodeo Princess. I knew that one day I would become the Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen. I am very excited to work with all 5 of my girls promoting the sport of rodeo.
Not only do I love queening, I also enjoy Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing, and Pole Bending. I was apart of the AJRA(Arizona Junior Rodeo Association), QCJRA(Queen Creek Junior Rodeo Association), and AHSRA(Arizona High School Rodeo Association). I was involved in the AHSRA for all four years I was in high school. In 2007 I was crowned the Arizona High School Rodeo 1st Attendant. I qualified for SSIR in Fallon, Nevada to compete for Miss Sliver State International Rodeo Queen, and Team roping. In 2008 I became the Casa Grande Heritage Rodeo Queen for the GCPRA Finals. I love rodeo in every aspect!
I wouldn't be where I am today without my family and friends. My mom is my biggest fan and best friend. In 2008, I graduated from Hamilton High School in Chandler AZ, where I was the Student Body President. Three years of my high school career I was involved in student government. I also was apart of the FFA competing in various events. I currently attend Scottsdale Community College where I am seeking a degree as a registered nurse. As of now, I hold two jobs, Toby Keith's Bar and Grill, and with West Coast Tanning. I am very excited for what the future may hold as I continue to reach my goals.

Good day Gilbert, Arizona! My name is Franki Keller and I'm your new Gilbert Days Senior Teen Queen for 2009. I can't explain how honored I am to represent Gilbert as royalty! I was born and raised these short 16 years by my parents Tim and Terri Keller, in Queen Creek, Arizona and still remain in that very same location. I come from a pretty large family who has stood by me through all my up's and downs no matter what came along. My friends are apart of my family and I thank the lord everyday for each and every one of them. The next big part(s) of my life are my horses. Being raised in the rodeo world, your horse is your companion. With out my horse's I wouldn't be able to do what I love.
School and rodeo are the biggest goals in my life right now. I am a junior and attend school online and plan to graduate next year at Queen Creek High then move on towards college. In the rodeo arena I barrel race, rope, and pole bend and now represent Gilbert Days. I wouldn't want to ever live my life any other way and am so grateful for all the opportunities I have had.
There are many things in my life that I have achieved or accomplished and being a rodeo queen is something new and something I'm looking so forward to accomplishing this year. Hopefully I get to meet each and everyone of you along the road to all of our upcoming rodeos and events. Oh and don't forget about our rodeo in November! See you in the arena and God Bless.

Hello Gilbert! I'm Taylor Bullard, a 13 year old 7th grader who is "rearing" to serve as your 2009 Gilbert Days Rodeo Sr. Princess. I am active in the Queen Creek 4-H club, Chandler Vaquero's Saddle Club, Queen Creek Gymkhana Club, and at the Gilbert Rodeo Park regularly helping out with the Wednesday night roping practice, Thursday evening Barrel practices and Friday night roping Jackpots . In my spare time, I'm usually in the barn! Our family has called Gilbert "home" for over 7 years now. We've seen a lot of changes in this "little" town, but one thing stays the same, and that's the way our community continues to celebrate it's western heritage in the largest event in town...Gilbert Days! I will be doing my very best to welcome each and everyone of you to come and enjoy our fabulous parade and at least one of our 3 International Professional Rodeo Association performances on November 20 - 22, 2009. It's a great way to spend time with your family while watching bulls, broncs, tough cowboys, fast cowgirls and ,of course, my favorite...the beautiful horses! I, along with the other great young ladies on the Gilbert Days Rodeo Royalty Court, look forward to seeing all the rodeo fans at events and parades throughout Arizona! Happy Trails and God Bless!

Howdy Rodeo Fans! I'm Codi Ross the 2009 Princess, I would just like to say that it is an honor to be queening for the Gilbert Days Rodeo again. Yup if you have seen me before it's because i was the 2007 Gilbert Days Missy. I am looking forward to a year full of fun and travel all over the state of Arizona representing the Gilbert Days Rodeo.
I am 11 years old, Home schooled, and live in Ajo Arizona. With my mom and my little brother Wyatt, my dog C.J., and most of all my six horses. My wonderful grandparents have made life what it is without them i would not have any horses. My queen horse is Patron a 10 year old gelding. Patron and I can be found at Rodeos, Parades, Sorting, or just out on the trail with our friends. I also love to participate in Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. My Barrel horse is Jewel a 4 year old mare. Jewel and I have been training very hard on the barrels. But it's not easy training a 4 year old sometimes they like to be silly. But i hope to get her done soon so that maybe some day will be able to watch me at the Gilbert Days Rodeo. Well maybe just a little more training first.
Well Patron and I will look forward to seeing you all at the rodeo in November. And don't forget don't hang your horse shoe's up side down. Your 2009 Gilbert Days Princess Codi Ross.
